Is Razorpay consent necessary for Domestic Collections in Gig account creation?

Yes. Customer consent is necessary while opting for domestic collection services through Razorpay. This consent is sought while opening the GIGA account. 

Who is Razorpay?

The Bank has partnered with Razorpay, which is a leading payments solutions provider, as a value proposition part of the GIGA program.  Razorpay takes care of the end-to-end payment ecosystem right from collecting payments to disbursing it to the respective bank accounts, making it an instant, hassle-free process for our GIGA account holders. Razorpay has an in-principal approval from RBI to operate as a Payment Aggregator.

How to enable the Razorpay Domestic Collections services ?

  •  Razorpay services. Click here to open your GIGA account. 
  • During account opening, you’ll be prompted for consent to access Razorpay’s collection services. Once you provide your consent and your GIGA account is successfully opened, you’ll receive your login credentials from Razorpay on your registered email address After making the initial payment of Rs.4000 (which is a setup cost), you will be able to start with the transactions in one business day
  • Login to your Razorpay account with the above credentials. We recommend you reset your password once you login. You can do this simply by clicking on the “Forgot Password” option.

Is it possible for me to accept payments in foreign currencies?

Yes, by linking Paypal via dashboard
