  • They have a telephone/post-paid mobile phone through which they can be reached.
  • For business owners, they should have been in business for a minimum of two years before applying.

EV loan documentation, like other Vehicle Loans provided by HDFC Bank primarily require proof of two things – identity/address proof and the ability to repay the loan amount over a period of time. Electric bike loan documents also differ on your livelihood. For salaried individuals, the requirements are quite different to those for self-employed individuals across Sole-Trading Proprietorships, Partnership Firms, Private Limited Companies and Public Limited Companies.

The documents required by Salaried Individuals and Self-Employed Individuals (Sole Proprietorship) are:

For identity proof, any of the following:

  • Permanent Driving license (which is relatively recent, legible and not laminated)
  • Valid Passport
  • Voters ID Card
  • Job card issued by NREGA
  • Letter issued by the National Population Register containing details of name & address

For proof of income:

  • Latest salary slip and Form 16
