HDFC Bank EasyKeys is a new digital offering from HDFC Bank that lets you do banking transactions using your smartphone's keyboard. With HDFC Bank EasyKeys users can check their account balance, transfer funds, recharge mobile / DTH, pay bills securely without switching apps while continuing to send emails or chatting.

Along with banking transaction, you can use HDFC Bank EasyKeys as your regular mobile keyboard. All you need to do is make HDFC Bank EasyKeys as your default Android keyboard using phone settings and you are ready to experience one of the easiest ways to bank on your mobile.

Get Started

Step 1 - Setting up your HDFC Bank EasyKeys

Update/Install your HDFC Bank MobileBanking App from the Play Store
Go to Phone Setting>Language & Input>Current Keyboard>>Enable HDFC Bank EasyKeys> Choose Keyboard> Select EasyKeys

Note :

In case you are unable to see the HDFC Bank EasyKeys keyboard, kindly un-install the existing HDFC Bank MobileBanking App and then download HDFC Bank MobileBanking App again.

Step 2 - How to get Started?

After successfully completing Step 1, you can use HDFC Bank EasyKeys as your default keyboard

To do a banking transaction, simply tap on the highlighted symbol below:

Authentication - Login with your MobileBanking Quick Access PIN or Customer ID and Password.
Once successfully authorized, user can do the following transactions:-
1. Balance Inquiry :-
  - Check Balance or check last 3 transactions of all available accounts
2. Fund Transfer (only for registered beneficiaries.) :-
  - Within HDFC Bank
  - IMPS using IFSC Code and A/c No.
  - IMPS using MMID and Mobile number
3. Bill Payment :-
  - Mobile recharge
  - DTH recharge
  - View/Pay Bills (This option is available only for registered billers)

Note :-

For Fund transfer, currently user will not be able to add beneficiary through HDFC Bank EasyKeys
For Bill Payment, currently user will not be able to add any new biller through HDFC Bank EasyKeys

Q.5. Can I add and recharge Mobile / DTH , pay bills for any operator?

Currently, Mobile / DTH recharge and Bill Payments can only be done for registered billers. Billers can be added using MobileBanking / NetBanking.

Q.6. How is this service different from HDFC Bank MobileBanking App?

The HDFC Bank MobileBanking App provides a comprehensive list of banking services. HDFC Bank EasyKeys is a part of the app using which a user can do select set of transactions without the need to switch between apps.

Q.7. Is the HDFC Bank EasyKeys secure?
Yes. It rides on our Secure Banking platform and is an extended part of our MobileBanking platform.

Q.8. How do I login?
Any user can login using Customer ID and Password or Quick Access PIN as used for NetBanking / MobileBanking.

Q.9. What if I forget my login credentials?
You can reset your password using our NetBanking / MobileBanking platform.

Q.10. How do I do Fund Transfer using HDFC Bank EasyKeys?

Login to HDFC Bank EasyKeys using Customer ID and Password or Quick Access PIN
Click on Fund Transfer
Select the type of transfer (Within HDFC Bank / IMPS using IFSC Code and A/C No./ IMPS using MMID and Mobile number)
Select the beneficiary from the available list of beneficiaries
Enter amount to be transferred and add remarks (if any)
Enter OTP and confirm

Q.11. If I have multiple accounts, can I choose the debit account?
Yes, you can choose the debit account. However, this option will be available only for accounts which have been provided with this facility.

Q.12. How do I do a Mobile/DTH recharge and Bill Payment using HDFC Bank EasyKeys?

Login to HDFC Bank EasyKeys using Customer ID and Password or Quick Access PIN
Click on Recharge or Bill Payment option
Select the registered biller from the available list of billers
Enter Amount
Enter OTP (if asked for) and confirm.

Q.13. What happens if the transaction fails?
In case a transaction fails, it will be reversed.

Q.14. What do I do if my account is debited but recharge did not happen?
In such a case, we request you to call our PhoneBanking helpline.

Q.15. What happens if I enter incorrect beneficiary details?
Currently, this service is only for registered billers. The responsibility of entering the correct information lies with the remitter / user creating the request. The Bank cannot be held responsible for checking the correctness of the same.
