eShopping using Direct Debit

This is a facility available to all NetBanking customers of the bank. The bank has tied up with various e-Shopping sites, which offer HDFC Bank Direct Debit as an option for payment for online shopping.

On these sites you will see the HDFC Bank logo and will have the option of paying online by Direct Debit to your account. On selecting HDFC Bank Direct Debit, you will be taken to a screen similar to the NetBanking login screen. Here you will have to enter your CustID and IPIN.

On validation of their authenticity by our NetBanking servers, you will see the bill for your online Purchases as charged to you by the web-site/service. Please check the same and when you confirm the payment, the transaction happens online and your account is debited instantaneously.

This option is perfectly safe and HDFC Bank has taken great care in the integration of this payment mechanism with the web-site/service and we ensure that all your transactions happen at the highest level of security and encryption.
