Required settings for Internet Explorer 5.5

1. Open the browser
2. Go to ' Tools '.
3. Under tools click on the ' Internet Option '.
4. Then click on ' Advanced '.
5. Scroll down till you see ' Microsoft VM '. Select the check box against 'Java Logging enabled' and ' JIT compiler for virtual machine enabled (requires restart) '.
6. Then scroll down the list and go to the last section 'Security '.
7. Mark the second check box which is ' Check for certificate revocation (requires restart) '
8. Click on 'Apply '
9. Restart Browser.
10. Then go back to 'Tools'.
11. Under tools click on the 'Internet Option'.
12. Then click on 'Security' and select 'Custom Level'.
13. Scroll down the list and go to 'Scripting of Java applets '.
14. Mark the second checkbox (Check for 'Enable' )
15. Click on apply & restart the browser

Required settings for Netscape  4.7

1. Open the browser.
2. Go to 'Communicator'.
3. Under 'Communicator' click on 'Tools'.
4. Under 'Tools' click on 'Security Info'.
5. In the ensuing 'Security Info' window that opens, Click on 'Navigator ' :
6. Click on the button 'Configure SSL v3' , under Advanced Security (SSL) Configuration:
7. In the ensuing window 'Configure Ciphers' uncheck the 4th and 5th options i.e.
8. RC4 encryption with a 56-bit key and a SHA-1 MAC
9. DES encryption in CBC mode with a 56-bit key and a SHA-1 MAC
10. Click on 'OK' and restart the browser.
