Subject: Important: Revisions to Your HDFC Bank Credit Card Loyalty Program Effective September 1st, 2024
Dear Valued Cardholder,
We have an important update regarding your Credit Card. Effective September 1st, 2024.
The following revisions to your HDFC Bank Credit Card will apply:
1. Reward Points earned on Utility transactions will be capped at 2000 Reward Points per calendar month.
2. Reward Points earned on Telecom & Cable transactions will be capped at 2000 Reward Points per calendar month.

Please note: For Millennia, UPI, BIZ UPI, Swiggy, BIZ First, Paytm, Paytm Business, Easy EMI Millennia, Best Price Save Smart and Bharat credit cards, the capping as per the product feature will continue to be applicable.
3. Education payments made through third-party apps like (but not limited to) CRED, Cheq, MobiKwik, and others will NOT earn Reward Points. However, education payments made directly through college/school websites or their POS machines will earn Reward Points.
This applies only to Consumer cards.

4. On the HDFC Bank SmartBuy portal, redemption of Reward Points to get Apple Products is capped to one product for every calendar quarter, effective October 1st, 2024. Calendar quarters: April to June, July to September, October to December, January to March.
This applies only to Infinia & Infinia Metal Cards.
5. On the HDFC Bank SmartBuy portal, redemption of Reward Points for Tanishq vouchers will be capped at 50,000 Reward Points for every calendar quarter, starting October 1st, 2024. Calendar quarters: April to June, July to September, October to December, January to March.
This applies only to Infinia & Infinia Metal Cards.
6. Wallet loading and Easy EMI transactions will NOT earn Reward Points.
This applies only to Millennia cards.

8. Every Rs. 150 spent on your credit card will earn 3 Reward Points on eligible transactions.

Note: The Merchant Category Codes (MCC) are set by the network (Visa, MasterCard, Rupay, Diners), not by HDFC Bank.
