1. I have lost my HDFC Bank ATM / Debit Card. What do I do?

In case your Card is lost / stolen, as first step you need to block your Card in order to avoid any fraudulent transaction happening from the account.

For blocking your Card you need to either:

  • Call up the local HDFC Bank PhoneBanking Number
  • Log onto HDFC Bank NetBanking from the desktop website and block the card using the option of 'Hotlisting' under 'Debit Cards'
  • Visit your nearest HDFC Bank Branch

2. My HDFC Bank ATM / Debit Card is stuck in the Card slot of HDFC Bank / non-HDFC Bank ATM. What do I do?

You are requested to block the Card by either:

  • Visit your nearest HDFC Bank Branch

You can request for a new Card to be delivered either at the mailing address which you have given to the Bank or at the nearest branch where you will have to collect the same in person.

3. I used a non-HDFC Bank ATM to withdraw cash and the money is not dispensed fully. What do I do?

Log a complaint with the local HDFC Bank PhoneBanking Number or visit the nearest HDFC Bank Branch. They will guide you on the next steps. You will be receiving the credit in your account within 12 working days from the time of you raising the complaint.

4. I see a transaction in my Credit Card bill, which hasn't been made by me. What do I do?

You are requested to block the Card by either

  • Calling our 24-hour Customer Call Centre
  • Filling up the Cardholder Dispute Form which can be downloaded from the desktop site and sending it to:

5. I want to register for Credit Cards NetBanking but I seem to have forgotten my Credit Card ATM PIN number. What do I do?

Call up the Credit Cards customer service number and request for a new ATM PIN number. The new ATM PIN number will be generated and sent to you. You can register for Credit Cards NetBanking only after you get your new ATM PIN number.

6. I have lost the phone that was registered for the MobileBanking facility. What do I do?

Inform the branch immediately so that the facility is disabled.You can register your new number in case you get a new connection by de-registering the older number.
