FASTag Closed Due To Failure In Closing Other Bank FASTag Within Timeline

Why was my FASTag closed? 

Your HDFC Bank FASTag was closed as you failed to close other Bank FASTag within timeline under One Vehicle One Tag (OVOT) mandate issued by Ministry of Road Transport & Highways.  

As per OVOT mandate, you may no longer have more than one Active FASTag linked to your vehicle. Your latest FASTag with other bank shall remain active.

What will happen to the balance amount in my FASTag Wallet? 

Don’t worry, your money is safe in the FASTag Wallet.  

Follow these simple steps to close your FASTag Wallet and withdraw the balance amount. 

  1. Login to FASTag customer portal via OTP verification 
  2. Make service request 
  3. Request type – Closure Request 
  4. Sub-Request Type – Wallet closure 
  5. Select Reason for closure 
  6. Remarks if any 
  7. Enter Bank details - A/c no., Bank Name, Bank IFSC for refund 
  8. Select Payment Mode 
  9. Upload Cancelled Cheque copy 
  10. Click on consent for T&Cs 
  11. Click on Proceed 
  12. Enter OPT & Captcha and Submit Application
