HDFC Bank PayZapp is fully safe and secure which makes it a preferred app to conveniently make any financial transactions. Especially with UPI, your bank details are not revealed and UPI ID will only be known to the beneficiary (receiver)/remitter (sender). However, it is crucial that you follow safety measures associated with online payments.

How long does an online payment transaction on PayZapp take?
Typically, you can make an online payment on PayZapp instantly. You simply need to add the biller and the relevant identifier and complete the payment using the preferred payment instrument.
What is swipe-to-pay on PayZapp?
Swipe-to-pay is a payment feature in PayZapp that allows you to make payments with a single swipe, without having to enter OTPs. This feature is applicable only when you select HDFC Bank Credit and Debit Cards and the PayZapp prepaid wallet as the payment method.
How can I transfer money from HDFC Bank’s PayZapp to my bank account?
You can transfer money from your PayZapp wallet to a bank account, provided you have completed the Bank Based Full KYC. Follow these steps:
1. After logging into PayZapp, go to your PayZapp wallet.
2. Tap on ‘Send Money to Account’.
3. Add a beneficiary by selecting the bank from the list provided. After adding the beneficiary, no transactions are allowed for 4 hours. You can transfer up to ₹2,000 after 4 hours up to 24 hours.
4. Once the beneficiary is added, follow the prompts in the app to transfer the money.
Note that a fee will be levied on the wallet-to-account transfers. Also, you can transfer a maximum of ₹50,000 per beneficiary, per month.
Can I scan and pay from my PayZapp wallet?
You can scan QR codes and make the payment from your PayZapp wallet.
How do I make UPI payments via PayZapp?
To make UPI payments via PayZapp, you must link your bank accounts. Launch PayZapp > Accounts & Cards > UPI Accounts > Add New. When you make a payment on PayZapp, you can select the linked bank account and complete the transaction by entering the UPI PIN.
Can I use PayZapp without a bank account?
Typically, you don’t need a bank account to register for PayZapp. You can complete the basic KYC with your Permanent Account Number (PAN) and enjoy the features of PayZapp, albeit with transaction limits. However, to make payments, you are required to link your Debit Cards, Credit Cards or bank accounts. Also, if you wish to maintain a balance in the prepaid wallet, you need to use a bank account to load money in the wallet.
